What Are Semi Pattu Sarees?
Semi pattu sarees are silk sarees woven with a lighter silk blend than full pattu, keeping the traditional pattu look while being easier to drape and more affordable. Ramanji Handlooms has this collection in production and it is not yet available to order.
How Semi Pattu Differs from Full Pattu
Full pattu uses a heavier pure silk with denser zari, giving a substantial fall suited to weddings. Semi pattu uses a lighter blend, so the saree is more comfortable over a long day and sits at a lower price point, while keeping the same borders and motif language.
When Will They Be Available?
Weaving is in progress. We have not fixed a release date yet, so rather than guess we will message everyone who registers interest as soon as the first sarees come off the loom.
